JINX reimagines vinyl as a collectible design object rather than a simple music container. By exploring the contrast between atmospheric abstraction and disciplined typographic structure, I aimed to create a composition that feels immersive yet controlled.

JINX is a mellow indie-pop album with lots of instrumentals and relaxed vocals, yet the design doesn't make this incredibly obvious. I decided to lean into this dysfunction and create something 'out of this world'... quite literally. Taking some of the bug motifs from the original album design, and expanding it into something as powerful as the music found inside.
